This series consists of an early version of the Museum's Book of Remembrance. It chronicles all the Hussars killed in service to Canada. It starts with the Second World War and goes through to the deaths of several peacekeepers.
This item consists primarily of typed documents including orders from the Camp Commandant, brigade orders, camp orders, general staff orders, tactical schemes, appendices to camp orders, after orders, lists of administrative staff. These documents include details about personnel, organization, training activities, sanitation procedures, and miscellaneous activities and events.
This series consists of Christmas Cards from Canadian Regiments to the 8th Canadian Hussars (PL). Regiments include, but are not limited to: the British Columbia Regiment, 436 Transport Squadron, Brigadier-General Worthington, Armour School Training Centre, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, South Alberta Light Horse, Royal Canadian Dragoons, Royal 22 Regiment, Prince Edward Island Regiment, etc.
