Collection contains material concerning the Anderson family, founding pioneers of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, including genealogical information for the Anderson’s of Sackville, New Brunswick, identifying the branch that migrated west before the mid 1870's. (after 1986); "Two White Oxen, a perspective of early Saskatoon, 1874-1905", from the memoirs of Barbara (Hunter) Anderson, compiled and edited by George W. Anderson and Robert N. Anderson, revised edition 1993; genealogical chart of the descendants of Thomas Anderson (1745-1841); genealogical chart of the descendants of Thomas R. Anderson (1745-1841), with family connections with Seaman, Crabtree, Pidge, and Tingley; and genealogical chart of the descendants of William George Anderson of Saskatoon, b. 1898.

Five of the photographs were taken by R.H. Smith, Sackville.

This fonds consists mainly of correspondence among members of the various branches of Pollok and Gilmour, especially to and from Alexander Rankin of Rankin and Gilmour.

It also includes personal financial records of Alexander and Robert Rankin and North American travel diaries of Allen Gilmour, Jr. and Sr. and William Ritchie, dating from 1828 to 1829, and a report on the proceedings at the Prince of Wales' Challenge Cup competition (1862).

This fonds consists of two medical journals--one containing records kept during his medical practice (14 April 1884 - 29 May 1892), the other recording daily transactions (1 October 1887 - 1 April 1892), a scrapbook containing photographs, loose photographs, and glass negatives. It also contains a biography file containing photocopies of newspaper stories and photos of Dr. George Noyes, and a handmade scrapbook by his son Benjamin L. Noyes entitled "Historical & Scenic Volume, Grand Manan Island, Charlotte County, N.B."

There is a sectional Aeronautical chart of Boston (V-10), n.d.; blueprints of the barge "Minca" built for the Ministry of War, 1944; a Lee Wilcox poem; newspaper clipping about the replica of the schooner "Bluenose"; work orders for the annual refit of the patrol boat "Gull Light," 1970.
