This fonds contains material related to the shipyards operated by Charles Short in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and Calais, Maine. It includes a newspaper article and booklet on the history of one of their ships, the "Rocklands".

The fonds consists of 15 manuscript series and 5 individual manuscripts. Authorship can be ascribed to at least five individuals involved in managing the business from it’s founding to its closure.

This collection contains correspondences, documents, photos, and other types of material related to Joseph and Effie Gibson and their descendants. Most of the correspondence in this collection concerns Joe Gibson, a Royal Canadian Air Force pilot and oldest son of Joseph and Effie Gibson. Many photos of him and his crewmates, his letters home from overseas, as well as his schoolwork and notes from leaning how to fly an aircraft are also included in this collection. Several items which concern the affairs of John Gibson, Joe Gibson’s younger brother, can be found in this collection. These include correspondences and legal documents related to the estate of Charlotte Gibson, his sister, as well as an agreement between John Gibson and the Canada Railroad Company concerning interest and his land. Most of the personal items and published material in this collection belonged to John Gibson as well, these include publications related to his position as a volunteer firefighter, reports of organizations he belonged to, maps of the Town of St. Andrews, notes related to his work as a stonemason, and other items.

This collection contains items related to the port at St. Andrews, New Brunswick, including a booklet advocating for the port's use as the main winter port in Canada.

This collection contains material related to the Saint Croix Island International Historic Site, including articles and essays on the history of the island, informational documents for the general public on the process of establishing the historic site, programs for special ceremonies held on the island, and plans for the development and management of the historic site.

This collection consists of the records of the Girl Guides, Brownies, and Sea Rangers Passamaquoddy Division documenting the local association’s administrative and financial activities as well as training materials, ceremonies, camping excursions, activities and events, organizational history, music, and publications produced or participated in by the Guides, Brownies, and Sea Rangers of Charlotte County.

Annual reports, minutes, and newsletters produced by the Provincial office are included in this collection as they contain detailed information on the Passamaquoddy Division.

This fonds contains material related to the history and administration of the United Churches in Charlotte County. Most of the material concerns the Wesley United Church in St. Andrews, but there are also documents on the Leonardville United Church, Grand Manan Methodist Church, Bocabec United Church, Kirk-McColl United Church, St. Stephen Presbytery, and the United Church Women in St. Andrews.

A series of documents from the Clifton Branch of the New Brunswick Women's Institute, which was founded on October 17, 1912. Registers demonstrate that between twenty and twenty-five women tended to be active members per year.
