This series contains various documents related to the administration and activities of the Fundy Weir Fishermen's Association Inc. These documents include a contractor's agreement for the removal of weirs, an association newsletter, a proposal for a research project to examine whether halibut can be grown in a weir pound, financial statements, lists of executive members and the members of the board of directors, by-laws and amended by-laws for the association, employment agreements for managerial positions, and an article from the publication "Turning the Tide" on the conflicts between weir fishermen and traditional fishermen.

Administrative Material

Material related to the administration of the Passamaquoddy branch of the Girl Guides and Brownies. The different types of material include the by-laws of the St. Andrews Girl Guides, correspondence, programs, pamphlets, registration forms, notes on Girl Guide activities, meeting minutes, agendas, and various types of reports on Girl Guide branch activities. There are also a few folders containing census reports, activity reports, financial documents, and guider warrant and pack registration forms for Girl Guides in St. Stephen, Milltown, Pennfield, St. George, Blacks Harbor, and Deer Island. Lastly, a copy of the Policy Organization and Rules of the Girl Guides of Canada from 1993 is also included.

This subseries contains a few different advertisements, including a form from the First Realty Company of New Brunswick Limited showing information on a house in St. Andrews being sold by the estate of Laura Webb, a business card directory for Charlotte County for 1997, an advertisement for enlarging negatives, and a booklet titled “The Ripley Patent Perfect Fireplace Damper by the G. R. Locker Co.” which contains notes on this company’s new fireplace damper.

This file contains promotional brochures and posters marketing associated events and activities leading up to and including the main events in 2004. Also included are advertising drafts for features in magazines and news outlets and plans for promotion banners on the streets of St. Stephen. Of note are the posters marketing the events and activities of Heritage Week.
