This book consists of the minutes of meetings of the 8th Hussars from 1920-1967. These minutes detail such exchanges as the following: training in Camp Sussex, Regimental meeting in Moncton, Regimental Accounts 1934, Funds Meeting Camp Sussex 1951, Alliance with Queen's Royal Irish Hussars, etc. Also, there are two newspaper clippings.
Fonds consists of Notebook dated 1929 with 50-60 handwritten pages of personal observations of various aspects of military life 1938. A 2 page letter from C. A. This series consists of correspondence sent by Tim Ellis, Director of the Association, and Mary Bickerton, Association Secretary. These letters deal with requests for information and a discussion of a potential regimental history book to cover the history of the 8th Hussars from 1973 to 1998.
This series consists of information relating to the Cairn established at Fox Hill, New Brunswick, by the Association of 8th Canadian Hussars in 1984. Included are documents relating to the easement granted to the Association for the Cairn, photographs, newspaper clippings regarding the proposed changes to Route 1, and a questionnaire concerning the proposed route change.
