Item is the family bible which was published in 1841 belonging to the Boultenhouse family. On the first page is written “John E. Boultenhouse” … “From his Mother, who died Jan 5 1868”. In the middle of the volume are four pages labeled “Family Record” with subheadings, “marriages”, “births”, and “deaths”.

Item is a brown-covered family bible used by the Etter family for religious purposes. The cover is engraved with gold lettering and images. Bible contains the Old and New Testaments.
Item is a copy of The Border and Westmorland and Cumberland advertiser (vol. XIV) which included advertisements, and news regarding local agriculture, commercial intelligence, politics, education, religion and literature.
This volume contains three hand-written sermons based on the 8th, 9th and 10th Commandments. There is a note that one was preached at the consecration of the St. John Church. The name of the place where the church was located has not been deciphered.
