Included are the correspondence of George Morrisey, Amelia Jane (Seely), Alfred Morrisey, Mary Lilian Fairweather Morrisey, Henry Fairweather Morrisey, and the correspondence, will and other records of Charles Henry Fairweather. There are also accounts of the estate of William A. Robertson mainly dealing with repairs to Dock St. property, 1858-1896, invoices and receipts, mortgages, leases, insurance policies and printed ephemera.

The fonds includes documents relating to approximately 300 civil cases, as well as extensive files on non-litigated land transactions, debt collections, and estate administration. Included is particularly interesting material on the legal aspects of constructing the railway through Kings County. While there are no criminal law files, there is considerable documentation arising from the role as clerk of the peace. Although the geographical focus is Kennebecasis Valley, other counties included are Albert, Queens and St. John.

The collection consists of correspondence and records, mainly related to Crawford's involvement with various arts clubs and societies and their exhibitions. The correspondence, primarily with the Maritime Art Association, deals particularly with exhibitions. Many letters mention the effects of the Second World War on art exhibits. There is also some correspondence relating to "Martime Art : A Canadian Art Magazine" which was launched in October 1941. The Maritime Art Association records include information on annual exhibits. There are lists of exhibitors names and addresses, titles of work and prices. There is also a typed copy of a brief presented to the Royal Commission on National Development of the Arts, Letters and Sciences (Massey Commission, 1949) along with various other reports, and minutes of annual meetings.

The Saint John Art Club material includes copies of the regulations for picture loans with lists of borrowers on the reverse side. There are reports on art club activities, Julia's notes regarding establishing an art gallery, and information on the Toronto Art Gallery exhibit including works by Saint John artists Jack Humphrey and Dorothy Currie. There are membership lists with addresses and minutes of monthly meetings. Some business and financial papers are also included. There are class lists for both junior and senior art classes, given by the Saint John Art Club from 1916 to1920, with names of instructors and students and two rolls of Art Club officers for 1919 and 1920. There is also material related to the Federation of Canadian Artists and other art groups. Material related to the 1941 British Children's Art Exhibit includes aspeech by Mayor Wasson on CHSJ radio appealling for the public support of a sale of artwork by British children in aid of air raid victims.

This fonds consists of the correspondence, deeds and other documents of the Nase family. There is a diary kept by Henry Nase from the day he enlisted in King's American Regiment (1776) until after he had moved to Westfield (1797). There is also a minute book of Nerepis Sunday School kept by Philip Nase,1858-1862, and a diary of A. Estelle Nase, 1926-1930.

This fonds consists of bound handwritten notebooks and microfilm copies. Not all years in the ranges of dates are present. They include the minutes of the Quarter Sessions of the City and County, 1868, 1872: minutes of the committees; 1874, 1886, 1893; minutes of County Council; 1877-1879; and the Sessions order book; 1860-1869, 1875, 1876.

There are records of tax assessments and collections for the parishes of Musquash,1877-1909; Portland including Indiantown, 1863-1869; St. Martins, 1864-1910; Simonds, 1871-1910 and Lancaster, 1856-1910. There is also a record book of the election of councillors with list of voters, 1877.

This fonds consists of the appointments, business records, accounts and military records of Charles R. Hatheway. There is also material about a dispute over land with Michael Noonan, 1851-1866; a record of surveys in Charlotte County, 1827-1855, and of lots surveyed in Saint David's for Dr. Frye and Capt. Mowatt, 1834; and a court book of smuggling cases, 1830-1832.
