Series consists of a book titled: "The Last Year of The Great War" as seen by Gunner Temple Sutherland. The book was dedicated to all the young men of Fredericton who served in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces during World War 1 including Gordon Alexander Boyd. Gordon served with Temple Sutherland in the 12th Siege Battery. Later, during the settling of Mr. Sutherland's estate, Boyd came into possession of Temple's diary and shared it with Patrick Cain; a member of the Branch's Historical Committee. Mr Boyd shared his memories and memorabilia for the publication of the book so that students today may use it for research.
