These notes, compiled by Catherine McLellan, firstly briefly mentions the probate court decision concerning the will of Gabriel Joshua Worden from 1912, and then details an article from the New Brunswick Magazine from November 1899 which is an account of the condition of Nid d'Aigle or Eagle's Nest at that time.

"The Eagle's Nest (Nid d'Aigle)" is a written report of a talk given by Mrs. Hendry O. McLellan of East Riverside New Brunswick to the King's County Historical Society in Sussex New Brunswick in October of 1965. Mrs. McLellan details her list of reasons for why the Eagle's Nest should be considered a provincial historical site.
