This series contains material related to the history of the Kirk-McColl United Church. Included are an outline of the church’s history from a bicentennial booklet, a memoir and research notes on Rev. Duncan McColl, a document outlining the purpose, objectives, and goals of the Kirk-McColl, and newspaper articles on the Kirk-McColl fire and the history of Methodism in St. Stephen.

Memorial Windows

This file contains material related to research into the memorial windows installed in the Wesley United Church in St. Andrews. Included are research notes, newspaper articles, and notes from interviews conducted by Ruth Spicer with Helen Archibald and Jackie Stuart Smith about the memorial windows. Tapes with audio recordings of those interviews are also included.

Methodism and St. Andrews

These include books and photocopied portions of books on the history of Methodism, research notes, correspondence, and copies of original documents like letters, financial statements, mortgages, and deeds.

St. Stephen Presbytery

This series contains administrative documents for the Presbytery in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Included are announcements for meetings, meetings minutes, and agendas, programs for Presbytery events, internal correspondence, and memos, lists of committee members, financial documents, booklets, and other material outlining internal policies, and reports from various committees. Also included are a paper titled “The Purpose and Function of the Presbytery” by J. Jarvie, a transcription of a deed between John A. Hoyt et al. and George E. Cline to the Trustees of the Methodist Church at Leonardville, and a pamphlet published by the United Church of Canada 32nd General Council titled "Membership, Ministry, and Human Sexuality”.

Summer Student Research Project

This file contains documents related to research projects on the history of the Wesley United Church conducted by summer students working for the church who were funded by government grants. The documents include time sheets, daily reports on student activities, reports on the outcomes of the research projects, a document outlining the job duties of a summer student, and an application/agreement form for employers for the Challenge ’93 Summer Employment/Experience Development Program by Employment and Immigration Canada.

The United Church on Deer Island and Grand Manan

This series contains drawings, newspaper notes, research notes, and correspondences related to the history of Methodism on Deer Island and the Leonardville United Church. Also included are research notes on the Grand Manan Methodist Church and Methodist Mission.
