Administrative history
In 1981, Kings Landing Historical Settlement, Prince William parish, New Brunswick, hired two students, Carol-Anne Theriault and George Peabody, to gather household inventories and other related materials from the records of the York County Probate Court from 1783 to 1890. Many wills contain detailed lists of goods belonging to the deceased and provide useful information about the life styles of the time.
