Biographical history

Herbert H. Gunter (Pat Gunter), son of William and Grace Gunter, was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, in 1911. Educated at Acadia University and Dalhousie Law School, Herbert H. served as a captain in the Halifax Rifles during the Second World War. He practiced law in Fredericton initially alone, later in partnership as Gunter and Dougherty, and finally as Dougherty, West and Gunter. Herbert H. Gunter died on 10 August 1986.
