Biographical history

Beryla Gorham was an active member of both the Gorham family and the Kingston Peninsula community. She complied the information held in the book "Gorham Homestead." The Gorham family was one of the original Loyalist families to arrive on the Kingston Peninsula in 1783 and were given Lot. No. 25 for service to the King. The original Gorham homestead is still farmed by members of the Gorham family to this day.
