Biographical Sketch: George Otty Dickson-Otty, born in 1855 and died in 1936, was the secretary-treasurer of the municipality of King's County. His duties included the management of tax collection. For example, Dickson-Otty communicated with rate-collectors and was responsible for creating assessment lists of who in the County was to be taxed and for how much. In 1883 he married Emily Elizabeth Nugent Murphy, and together they had six children.
