Item is a photograph of Mabel and John Alward’s farm, formerly the Baird property, in approximately 1908. This photograph shows the house, barn, outhouses, and granary (wider white doors) where oats were stored in fall for personal use and sale.

Postcard Album

Series contains 86 postcards placed in an album in no particular order. The dated postcards range from 1906 to 1913, and were primarily addressed to Mrs. Walter I. Dixon [Jane Gillis], and also to Mr. Walter I. Dixon and Raymond Dixon. Postcards were sent from a number of relatives and friends. A number of the postcards depict locations in Canada as well as the United States. Most of the postcards contain messages.
