Biographical history
The McKeen family was pre-loyalist first settling in Maugerville and later moving to Keswick Ridge. Joseph McKeen bought a farm on Lot #10 of the original Isaac Allen land grant from Samuel and Fannie Smith in 1839 and the McKeen family remained on the farm until a descendant, Annie McKeen, sold the property in the late 1970’s.
