Chapman, Trooper Ralf Morris

Trooper Ralf Morris Chapman (G793) traveled overseas to England where he trained for a couple of courses wireless and AFW fitters course. Trooper Chapman was the son of Percy and Gertrude M. Chapman ; he lived in Mt. Middleton Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada prior to joining the Regiment . He died September 13th 1944 at the age of 24.
"Trooper Ralph Morris Chapman from Mt. Middleton, New Brunswick. Ralph served with B Squadron, 8th Princess Louise's (New Brunswick) Hussars during WWII and passed away as a result of combat wounds on 13 September 1944. He fought and died at Coriano Ridge, Italy. Ralph's brother Harold also served with the same unit and currently resides in Peticodiac, NB."

2nd Lieutenant John Edwin Dixon Canadian Postal Corps the Canadian Army October 6th 1941 .During operations in NW Europe Major Dixon has performed his duties as DADPS in a highly efficient manner, By frequent personal contents , constant attention to important details and a persistent endeavor to eliminate all unnecessary procedure he has ensured the smooth and rapid flow of mail to the fans of this corps. By example , he has succeeded in installing , in all personnel under his direction , his own high sense of responsibility and integrity. he realizes the importance of his service to the morale of the troops and has been tireless in his efforts to ensure that all personnel and methods employed in the distribution of mail produce the maximum efficiency.

Allen Kennedy has been in the military all his life and he retired as a LCol. He joined in the the late 1950's.. Allen Kennedy's Father Tpr. Isaac Harry Kennedy G363 was born Jan 10th 1911 at Lincoln N.H. USA. He enlisted in Sussex New Brunswick 18 September 1940. His trade at time of enlistment was a Electric Lineman. He past his standard trade test with the 5th Canadian Armd. Regt 21 Nov 41 in group "A" Electrician. Kennedy received the 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star and Canadian Volunteer Service metal and clasp. Trooper Kennedy was discharged in Fredericton 18 September 1945 . He stayed involved the the 8th Canadian Hussars association.
